Only when reported to the Local Government Ombudsman on the issue has Restormel Borough Council finally woken up to the fact (that everyone in the town already knows about) that the park opposite is a haven for drug pushers and drug use. In addition Cosgarne Hall a stone's throw from Belfield houses people with alcohol problems who are at present given no help at all with all the resultant problems of detritus and medical assistance required! Retormel now say they will look into these problems!! Where have they been the last few years? And their offices are only a quarter of a mile away!!
Even with a local councillor spelling out to them the EXISTING problems in that area of town WHICH ARE NOT BEING ADDRESSED - how dare the Council insist on adding to the terrible pressures that local people are CURRENTLY enduring?
